Tell us a bit about you as a person?
Mother of 2 beautiful boys who are the epicenter of my world. I’ve enjoyed an exciting and fulfilling career in the corporate world but have changed gears so as to allow me more time with them. I hold a BCom in Business Management and a Postgraduate in Communication. A lifelong learner who believes in staying relevant in an ever-changing and more complex landscape.
What led you into the world of franchising?
My milestone of my 40th birthday was a target to live an enriched life by being in control of my time and the outcome of the things that I did with my time. I wanted to own my own business but wanted guidance, support and a framework of policies and procedures. The obvious choice was a franchised business.
What first attracted you to the Club Engage franchise?
I knew that I wanted to do something in the child-care industry. After many “expeditions” I settled on pursuing the Club Engage Franchise because it resonated with my value system but I also felt I could add value in this particular space.
What have been some of your highlights as a Club Engage franchisee?

Do your homework intensively, meet other franchisees and spend time in their businesses and interrogate critically if you are a fit or not.

Research the company well and if possible, speak to other franchisees.
Does your personality fit the role, working with children and parents? Are you a people-person or prefer behind the scene kind of role? This is a mix of both.
Don’t expect success overnight. It’s takes a lot of time, building and sacrifices
